ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR EARLY MORNING REPORTED BURGLARY

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an early morning reported burglary on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 4:20 a.m. officers responded to a home in the 1400 block of Southeast Stephens Street. The homeowner heard a noise and allegedly found an unknown female inside of his residence. He detained her until police arrived.

During the investigation, it was determined that 33-year-old Shelena Rose had also damaged property while being on the victim’s property. Rose was charged with first-degree counts of burglary and criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief. She was detained on $5,000 bail.
