OSP TROOPER RESPONDS TO APPARENT OVERDOSE INCIDENT

A trooper with the Oregon State Police responded to an apparent overdose incident on Saturday night.

An OSP report said just after 9:00 p.m. the trooper was dispatched to Interstate Five Green/Winston Exit 119 after a caller said a man was overdosing while in a vehicle in that area. Upon arrival, the trooper administered Narcan to the man. Medical personnel arrived on the scene shortly after and took over care. The subject refused a hospital visit. An emergency medical services report was completed.
