Roseburg Police jailed a man for second-degree criminal trespass and offensive littering on Tuesday morning.
A Roseburg Police report said at 9:15 a.m. officers contacted the 65-year-old at a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after an employee said the man was drinking beer on the property. Officers contacted the man and noticed he was drinking a high-alcohol content beer and was visibly intoxicated. While issuing the man a citation for drinking in public, he reportedly threw an empty beer can into the parking lot. Officers learned that the man had been previously trespassed from the location. Bail was set at $2,500.
