The Winston City Council will meet on Monday night.

Councilors will consider an ordinance to restructure the Park Board. It will move it from having six members and one council member as a liaison to having four volunteer citizens, one council liaison and two ex officio staff members. It also created a new park volunteer program created and codified that will have no limitation on participants or fundraising activities.

Other items are on the agenda. Reports will be given by the police, and public works departments and by City Manager Thomas McIntosh.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers on Northwest Douglas Boulevard.
