Nearly 14 percent of registered voters have cast a ballot for the 2026 Douglas County May Primary Election.
County Clerk Daniel Loomis said 13.87 percent, or 12,525 ballots had been received as of late Monday afternoon. Loomis said that is 1.39 percent ahead of the participation rate for the same point in the 2022 May Primary Election.
It is now one week from Election Day. Registered voters who have not yet received a ballot should contact or visit the County Elections Office. Voters can use one of the official ballot drop sites to return their ballot. That includes eight drive-up locations. A list of those locations is posted at: https://www.douglascountyor.gov/179/Official-Drop-Site-Locations
