Roseburg Police jailed a man for a probation violation on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 12:50 p.m. officers contacted the 29-year-old after he was allegedly walking in front of cars in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man reportedly exhibited signs of recent drug use. Officers knew he was on probation and contacted his probation officer. A detainer was authorized and the man was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail.
