Roseburg Police cited a man for a dog leash law violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 5:40 p.m. while patrolling, officers were flagged down by a pedestrian who stated that they had been chased by two dogs that were not on a leash near the intersection of Northwest Renann Street and Northwest Edenbower Boulevard. A 36-year man was standing near the dogs and confirmed that they both belonged to him. Neither of the dogs were on a leash.

The man was released after the citations were issued.
