Oregon State Police jailed a man for a parole violation following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Sunday afternoon.

An OSP report said at 4:10 p.m. a male was called in for yelling and having disruptive behavior that caused alarm to a homeowner along the 10,000 block of Highway 138E, about halfway between Roseburg and Glide. Juvenile children were present outside in the area. The 52-year-old man was contacted nearby and reportedly displayed erratic behaviors and signs consistent with stimulant use.

The suspect admitted to methamphetamine use in the day’s prior, which was found to be a violation of his probation conditions. His parole officer was contacted and requested that the man be detained. The man was placed into custody for the violation and was cited for second-degree disorderly conduct. He was held without bail.
