Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charge of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:50 a.m. officers contacted 38-year-old Keith Weatherford in the 100 block of Sunshine Road regarding a previous case involving several vehicle break ins. During the incident, Weatherford allegedly broke into three separate vehicles, stealing items from each of them. Amongst the stolen items was an iPad which was taken then reportedly sold.

Weatherford was charged with three counts of unlawful entry, two counts each of theft in the first and second-degree, and for parole violation. He was detained on $10,000 bail and was released on Saturday.
