Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:00 p.m. officers contacted the 55-year-old on Oregon Department of Transportation property near the Interstate 5 Garden Valley Boulevard interchange. The man was in his tent just outside the fence the separates the multi-use path from freeway property near the Roseburg VA. His camp was set up during a prohibited time and in a prohibited place.

Due to the man’s medical issues, he was cited and released on the scene.
