CHI Mercy Health – Mercy Foundation is inviting local non-profit organizations to consider applying for grants that support the delivery of services vital to improving health and well-being and improving equity.
A release said these grants reflect the commitment of Mercy and CommonSpirit Health to work with community partners to improve the health and wellbeing of Douglas County residents. This opportunity is part of the CommonSpirit Health Community Health Improvements Grant program. CHI Mercy Health is part of CommonSpirit, which was created in 2019 when Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health came together to create a national health system.
The application period runs through September 12th at 11:55 p.m. No late applications will be accepted. Applicants will be notified in mid-January of 2026.
Grants range from $20,000 to $100,000 and capital projects are not eligible.
Proposed projects should align with Mercy’s Community Health Needs Assessment priorities which include:
*Adolescent and Youth Health, Early Childhood Development and Engagement
*Access to Affordable, Quality and Equitable Healthcare Services
*Maternal, Fetal, Infant and Children’s Health
*Substance Use and Alcohol Use Disorder
