Deputies charged a man for drugs he allegedly brought into the Douglas County Jail on Monday.

A DCSO report said at 5:20 p.m. the 35-year-old was being taken into custody for a parole violation. When a deputy was conducting a search, the suspect allegedly tried to conceal that he was in possession of methamphetamine.

The man was detained without bail for unlawful possession of meth, supplying contraband and for a parole violation.
