Roseburg Police cited two people for drinking in public in separate incidents on Monday.

An RPD report said just before 10:00 a.m. officers contacted a 43-year-old along with multiple other individuals outside a vacant building in the 400 block of Northeast Winchester Street. The man was drinking a beer, which was still about 1/3 full. The man dumped the beer out and was given a citation.

At 10:30 p.m. an officer observed a 63-year-old sitting next to an open beer at the intersection of Southeast Main Street and Southeast Washington Avenue. The man admitted to drinking it and was issued a citation, along with his first city exclusion notice.
