Roseburg Police cited a man following a traffic stop on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 1:35 p.m. VA Police advised that they had a male detained for driving while suspended outside of the VA Garden Valley Boulevard gate in the 1400 block of Veterans Way.

The 77-year-old admitted to Roseburg Police that that he did drive because it was his only way to receive healthcare. He was cited for driving while suspended-misdemeanor and driving uninsured. The man was unable to get a valid driver to the scene, so his vehicle was impounded by a towing company.
