Roseburg Police jailed a woman and cited a man for a littering incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 9:20 a.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old woman and 33-year-old man at their camp in Gaddis Park, in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. They were in a restricted area and had trash spread into the South Umpqua River.

The woman was jailed for a criminal count of littering in or near waters and prohibited camping. Bail was set at $7,500. The man was cited for a violation of the same charges and was released after the citation was issued.
