GLENDALE MAN CITED FOLLOWING FRIDAY NIGHT CRASH

June 30, 2025 10:50 a.m.

A Glendale man was cited following a Friday night crash.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 8:10 p.m. the 20-year-old was traveling in the 2100 block of Glendale Valley Road with a full 300-gallon water tank in the back of his truck. The driver was unable to maintain his lane of travel and his vehicle ended up striking a power pole and going through a fence.

The property owner arrived on scene and Pacific Power was notified. The power pole was completely sheared off at the bottom. The vehicle was not damaged to the point of needing to be towed.

The driver was cited for failure to drive within a lane and for not having an operator’s license.
