ROSEBURG WOMAN CITED AFTER REPORTED RECKLESS DRIVING INCIDENT

A Roseburg woman was cited after a reported reckless driving incident on Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 9:30 p.m. the 59-year-old was eastbound on Currier Avenue, north of Roseburg, at a high rate of speed when her vehicle left the roadway and traveled through a ditch, destroying a mailbox and a fence before striking a parked vehicle and launching it sideways approximately seven feet.

The woman was cited for reckless driving and driving uninsured. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
