COMPOST TEA 101 CLASS COMING IN AUGUST

The Oregon State University Extension Service has a Compost Tea 101 class coming up later this summer.

Attendees will learn about brewing their own tea for the garden. This class is designed to teach learners about the art and science of making compost tea. There will be information about tea nutrition, liquid application of fertilizer and how to extend the use of compost.

Instructors will cover the basics of brewing techniques, equipment, and application methods. Participants should be ready to get their hands dirty and leave with the knowledge of how to fertilize their garden in multiple ways.
