Roseburg Police cited a woman for child neglect on Monday ternoon.

An RPD report said just after 3:20 p.m. officers responded to the parking lot of a business in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after receiving multiple calls regarding two small children left unattended in a vehicle. Upon investigation, officers determined that the 46-year-old from Coos Bay had left the juveniles, ages 7 years and 8 months old, alone in her vehicle for approximately 30 minutes while she went into the store.

The woman admitted to leaving the children in her vehicle. She was cited and released on the scene.
