VEHICLE ROLLS ONTO ITS TOP ON SATURDAY

Troopers with the Oregon State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 42, approximately eleven miles west of Camas Valley on Saturday afternoon.

An OSP report said at 1:50 p.m. the 18-year-old driver said she was going about 60 miles per hour when she lost control of her SUV and it struck the bank, just off the road. The vehicle rolled onto its top, causing heavy damage. The driver and her two passengers were not injured. She was given a warning for careless driving. A towing company recovered the vehicle.

Camas Valley Rural Fire District and the Oregon Department of Transportation assisted at the crash scene.
