Roseburg Police jailed a Reedsport man for warrants early Monday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers saw the 43-year near the intersection of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Walnut Street and believed he had a warrant for his arrest. As the officers approached, the man took off running but was located in the bushes a short distance away. He was taken into custody without incident.

The man was detained on $47,500 bail and was released later in the day.
