Multiple H.O.P.E. Drug Court graduate phase participants have scheduled car washes to raise money for their community projects.
The Douglas County H.O.P.E. Drug Court program is preparing for their 110th graduation on August 26th. It will begin at 5:15 p.m. in the Cascade Hall building at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Four of the graduate phase participants are taking advantage of the summer weather by holding car washes to benefit each of their community projects.
The first car wash will be on June 28th and 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Abby’s Legendary Pizza on Northeast Stephens Street in Roseburg. This event benefits the Connect Point mobile navigation program and the Adapt Opiod Treatment program to collect items to make wound care kits.
Other car washes will be held:
*July 4th and 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at NAPA Auto Parts in Drain. This will benefit the Adapt Crossroads inpatient treatment program.
*July 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Abby’s Legendary Pizza on Northeast Stephens Street in Roseburg. This will benefit the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Center and the River Rock and Rising Light inpatient programs.
*July 12th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sherm’s Thunderbird on Northwest Stewart Parkway in Roseburg. This will benefit the Child Welfare program.
