Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported menacing incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said shortly after 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a home in the 600 block of Southeast Flint Street after a victim claimed he had been in a physical disturbance with the suspect. After an investigation, officers determined that during the incident the 71-year-old had shoved the victim several times before chasing him out of the residence with a screwdriver.

The suspect refused to speak with officers and was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $3,000.
