A Green area woman was charged with harassment on Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 9:30 a.m. the 46-year-old was allegedly washing a frying pan in the kitchen at a residence in the 4500 block of Stella Street when she began to argue with the victim

The woman reportedly got mad and grabbed her frying pans from the kitchen cabinets. On her way out of the kitchen she allegedly smacked the victim in the face with a frying pan, bruising his lip.

A witness saw the incident and called 911. When the woman heard the witness calling police, she left the home. The woman was found at the Happy Valley Boat Ramp and was taken into custody. She was detained without bail.
