A big change to weather conditions in the Umpqua Valley is expected on Friday and Saturday.

Forecasters said there is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the forecast for Friday. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. Showers should increase on Saturday bringing a wet start to the first full day of summer.
