TRANSIENT JAILED FOR SECOND-DEGREE DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A transient was jailed for second-degree disorderly conduct on Wednesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 10:30 p.m. the 48-year-old was reported as causing a scene near the 3800 block of Cole Road in the Oakland area. The woman had allegedly abandoned a pickup in a nearby ditch. She was detained without bail. Her vehicle was picked up by a towing company.
