FREE SUMMER MEAL DISTRIBUTION IS UNDERWAY IN THE SOUTH UMPQUA SCHOOL DISTRICT

Free summer meal distribution is underway in the South Umpqua School District.

The summer food program is a part of USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition. Meals are available to children and teens age 18 and younger. Meals are given out Mondays through Thursdays through August 14th via the Lunchbox Express Summer Food Van.

Food is available at:

*Stagecoach Apartments in Canyonville: 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

*South Umpqua High School: 11:35 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

*Meadowlark Apartments in Myrtle Creek: 12:00 pm. to 12:15 p.m.

*Myrtle Creek Elementary School: 12:25 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.

*Millsite Park in Myrtle Creek: 12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

*Myrtle Terrace Apartments: 1:05 p.m. to 1:20 p.m.

For students in the Riddle School District, meals are available at Riddle Park: 11:10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
