Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported harassment incident on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 6:00 p.m. the 51-year-old suspect from Coos Bay and a victim were involved in a disturbance where the man allegedly slapped the victim in the face,and pulled her hair in front of a juvenile child. The incident reportedly took place in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.

The man was charged with harassment and was detained on $2,500 bail;.
