Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged retail theft incident on Friday.

An RPD report said at 4:30 p.m. an officer saw the 49-year-old walk out of a store in the 2800 block of Northeast Stephens Street with $7 worth of concealed merchandise in his pockets. The man had not paid for the items and was taken into custody. Bail was set at $1,250.
