Roseburg Police cited a man for an ordinance violation on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 11:10 a.m. the 46-year-old was contacted below the disc golf course off the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. The man was in possession of a small hatchet and a very large knife that he claimed were both his. He was cited for having prohibited weapons, tools and other implements on city property and was released on the scene.

The tools were seized as evidence.
