In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Community College Performing and Visual Arts presents the UCC musical SPAMALOT next month.
SPAMALOT is a new musical lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
The production will be held outdoors in the Swanson Amphitheatre on July 16th through the 20th at 7:30 p.m. Open seating is provided, or attendees can bring their own chairs. The audience area is in the shade. Spots can be reserved earlier in the day by bringing chairs or blankets.
Food truck dinners, cold water, chocolate chip cookies and UCC wine will be available for purchase. Outside food is welcome as well so people can bring their own picnic.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, and $10 for seniors. Students are admitted for free. Cash will be taken at the door or pay in advance at: www.umpqua.edu.community.
