A Roseburg area woman was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle wreck on Monday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at approximately 7:50 a.m. the 21-year-old driver swerved to miss a deer, and her sedan went into the briars below. The crash took place in the 2100 block of Hubbard Creek Road in the Umpqua area. The driver was shaken up and had some marks from her seatbelt. She was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center as a precaution. A family member was able to remove the vehicle and there was no property damage.
