Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 2:00 p.m. officers contacted the 22-year-old from Sutherlin after he was called in for acting aggressive towards a victim in the 700 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. A witness reportedly saw the suspect hit the woman. The victim told officers that the man never hit her, but did push her while they were in a trailer.

The man admitted that he pushed the woman, but said it wasn’t in a violent way. He was charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,500.
