Roseburg had the hottest day of the year so far on Friday, but even hotter weather is expected for the next three days.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 91 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous hottest days of the year were May 1st and May 28th when the high got to 86 degrees.

Forecasters said a high of 92 degrees is slated for Saturday, with Sunday and Monday expected to reach 97 degrees each day. Tuesday is forecast to cool down to the mid to upper 80s, with highs in the 70s for the rest of the week.
