Roseburg Police cited a woman for prohibited camping near the South Umpqua River on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:30 a.m. the 26-year-old was contacted in her sleeping bag below the frisbee golf course, in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Camping is always prohibited in this area due to its proximately to the river.

The woman was released after being issued a citation.
