The Friends of the Roseburg Public Library book sale starts on Thursday.

A city release said this will be a better book sale with newer editions and older books of excellent quality. Most books will be priced at $1 and are in great condition with no library withdrawls. Special art books and new books published in the last three years will be offered for $5. Colorful handcrafted book bags will also be on sale for $5. Used children’s books and mass market paperbacks will be 25 cents each. Saturday is half-price day. The sale is held in the library’s Ford Room.

Sale hours are:

*Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

*Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

*Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
