Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and cited him for prohibited camping early Monday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. the 58-year-old was contacted because he was camping in a restricted area at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. His camp did not comply with the manner portion of the city ordinance. Dispatch checked and advised that he had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $10,000. The man was released later in the day.
