Friday was the hottest day of the year so far in Roseburg.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 91 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous hottest days for 2025 were May 26th and May 1st when the highs each day hit 86 degrees.

Friday’s high fell only 3 degrees short of equaling the record high for the date. That was 94 degrees, which was set in 1931.

Weekend high temperatures are forecast to be 81 degrees on Saturday and 75 degrees on Sunday. The afternoon high temperatures starting Monday should be right around 80 degrees for the next few days.
