Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported criminal mischief incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 8:15 a.m. officers contacted the 56-year-old in the 1900 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard after a victim said the man had hit his vehicle with a rock, causing damage. The suspect denied the allegation, but several witnesses confirmed the victim’s claim.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $6,250.
