Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 7:40 a.m. a 22-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman was found to be sleeping inside a tent during camp clean up in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The tent was not in compliance with the city’s time, place and manner guidelines. It was large and outside the required 10-foot by 10-foot size.

Both people claimed they had stayed only one night, and the camp was not theirs. They were released after their citation was issued.
