ODOT OPEN HOUSE IS NOW LIVE, IN-PERSON EVENT JUNE 3RD

May 29, 2025 3:30 a.m.

The Oregon Department of Transportation and the City of Roseburg continues working on the Exit 124/125 Interchange Area Management Plan and Garden Valley Corridor Plan.

For Interstate 5 exits 124 and 125, the plan will outline a 20-year vision for access and roadway improvements to protect the function and operations of the interchanges. The GVCP will identify strategies for the City of Roseburg to improve safety, mobility and connectivity so the corridor better serves the community’s needs now and into the future.

An online open house is live through June 13th to take feedback on transportation in Roseburg. Citizen input will help shape potential transportation solutions for both areas. Access the project webpage at: https://www.oregon.gov/odot/projects/pages/project-details.aspx?project=21786

An in-person community open house will take place next Tuesday, June 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Ford Room of the Roseburg Public Library.

The planning process is expected to continue through 2026. The ODOT release said while the plan will help guide future transportation investments in the area, no funding has been identified yet for construction.
