On Friday, Governor Tina Kotek ordered all flags at Oregon public institutions to be flown at half-staff, on Memorial Day from sunrise until noon the same day.

Kotek said, “On Memorial Day, we honor our fallen service members with deep gratitude”. Kotek said, “The First Lady and I keep them and their families in our hearts.; May they be forever remembered for their courage and sacrifice for the safety of our state and nation”.
