Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. the 59-year-old had his recreational vehicle set up in the parking lot of the former Albertson’s store in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The vehicle had been there for at least a week. The man also had a generator set up along the sidewalk with numerous other possessions.

The man was released after being cited. The city compliance officer took photos of the numerous motorhomes and vehicles set up in the parking lot and will reach out to the property owner regarding the situation.
