A Yoncalla woman was jailed for charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment following incidents late Friday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 5:25 p.m. a deputy responded to the 300 block of Main Street in Yoncalla after a caller said a female was yelling, screaming and saying she was going to kill herself. The deputy located the woman and identified her as 34-year-old Kristi Wilburn. The deputy attempted to detain Wilburn, but she fled into a backyard and then into a nearby residence.
The woman entered the home and allegedly assaulted the owner. Wilburn then fled the residence and was located a short time later. She was placed in custody and transported to corrections. Wilburn was detained without bail.
