Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged disturbance on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 5:20 p.m. officers contacted the 25-year-old and a victim regarding an incident in the 300 block of Southeast Pitzer Street. During the investigation, officers learned that the man had slammed a car door on the female’s left leg and punched her in the face.

He was charged with harassment and detained on $2,500 bail. The man was released on Thursday.
