The driver reportedly showed signs of impairment and was found to have a warrant. He consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. Davis was taken into custody and admitted to recent use of alcohol, methamphetamine and marijuana. During a search of his pickup, a handgun was allegedly located and seized. The man did not have a concealed handgun license.

Davis was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, unlawful possession or concealment of firearms, and driving while suspended or revoked. The man refused to take a urine test. He was detained on $6,250 bail. Davis was cited for refusal to take the urine test.
