The Friends of Umpqua Valley Police K9s program will have its annual “K9’s Unleashed” event on Sunday, May 18th.

It will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Douglas County Speedway at the fairgrounds. This year’s event is partially sponsored by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians and the Lotus Media Group. The family-friendly event is open to the public, but no pets are allowed.

Multi-agency teams will provide demonstrations, pursuits, obstacles and more. A limited supply of T-shirts, sweatshirts and little plushie K9s will be available.
