Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged harassment incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:05 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance at Southern Oregon Goodwill in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. A clerk at the business was allegedly hit in the face by a patron because she didn’t have a small bag to give him. The 55-year-old was contacted and admitted to the incident.

He was charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,500. The man was released later in the day.
