The Umpqua Gem and Mineral Club will have its Rockhound Roundup in May.

The event will take place on May 3rd and 4th at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

There will be gem and mineral displays, rock and jewelry dealers, demonstrators, silent auctions, and more. There will also be kids’ games and free kids’ activities. Rock hunts will take place as well. Roseburg Elks Lodge 326 will have a food concession.

Hours are Saturday from 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
