Roseburg Police cited a man for unlawful possession of inhalants on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 9:55 a.m. the 52-year-old was contacted with a nitrous oxide cannister in his possession in the 1800 block of Northeast Stephens Street. A passerby reportedly observed him inhaling from it. An officer observed the can was frosted up, indicating it had been used as described by the witness.

The man was released after the citation was issued.
